The RAMP designation, awarded to schools that align with the criteria set in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment.

Through a comprehensive school counseling program, the Forest Park High School School Counseling Department will espouse the characteristics of the Forest Park Seal, Expect Excellence. Through implementation of best practices and our commitment to a comprehensive school and counseling program, we envision all students achieving a world-class education and becoming responsible citizens. As a community, we will continue to expect excellence by providing a comprehensive school counseling program for all students emphasizing high expectations and lifelong learning in academic development, addressing personal/social needs, and supporting career awareness, exploration and preparation. As successful lifelong learners and responsible citizens, our students will be empowered to expect excellence of themselves and make a positive difference in their school and community.

Mission:

Through a comprehensive school counseling program, the Forest Park High School School Counseling Department will promote academic, personal/social, and career success for all student. The School Counseling department will implement best practices that lead to lifelong student learning and achievement that facilitates productive and responsible citizenship. These practices will lead to the ultimate goal of a world-class education. As a community, Forest Park High School will implement best practices that lead to continual improvement of student learning and achievement.
