Forest Park High School will have item drop-off and pick-up opportunities for underclassman students/families on June 11 & June 12 between 11:30am-4:00pm. School items such as textbooks, instruments, uniforms, etc... may be dropped off. Items such as yearbooks, personal locker items, and medicine(s) located in the clinic may be picked up. Prior to arrival remember to have the student name(s) and student ID numbers written large and legibly on a piece of paper to display to staff. If parents/guardians will be picking up medicine from the school nurse it will be asked that they display their drivers license for verification. Upon arrival please ensure that passengers are each wearing their personal protective equipment. We thank you for your help and patience during the process.

There will be three stations.
Station 1 (Door 22) pick-up items

Please complete form prior to June 5, 2020.

Station 2 (Door 1) medicine pick-up

Ms. Gonzalez will be stationed at DOOR 1 for those individuals that need to pick up medicine(s) provided to the school earlier in the year.


Station 3 (Door 4) drop-off items

Textbooks – label student name (First and Last) and teacher name on the inside cover of the textbook in the space provided of the textbook. If the space is not available, insert an index card with the same information.

Instruments – Index card adhered to the instrument or located inside the case labeled with student name (First and Last) and teacher name.

Sports Equipment – Uniforms stored in a sealed bag with paper inside the bag listing the students name (First and Last), respective level (Varsity/JV)

Choir Uniform – Uniform(s) stored in a sealed bag with paper inside the bag listing the students name (First and Last)

Miscellaneous Items - Stored in a sealed bag with paper inside the bag listing the students name (First and Last), Teacher, Course

A staff member will meet you at the drop off area. After receiving the signal from the staff member either yourself or the passenger will step out of the vehicle and walk to the drop bin. The drop bin will be in an accessible location outside the school buildings nearest the drop area. To expedite the delivery of the items we ask that no communications or discussions take place between staff and the families. Once the items are delivered please walk directly back to your vehicle and proceed to vacate the grounds.

-StudentVue Login:Students should log into StudentVue with their @pwcs-edu.org email address. Their password is the same as their computer login.
-Student Password Expiration or Reset:If your Password has expired or you have forgotten it you will need to use the “Student Password Reset’ located on the front page of our website.

-PWCS cares deeply about students’ emotional well-being during their time away from school.  If a student is in need of emotional support during this time, please feel free to send an e-mail to studentsupportservices@pwcs.edu.  A school mental health or health professional will answer and offer virtual support to students to the best of their ability.  This e-mail is not to be used for emergency situations as it will not be monitored 24 hours a day.  If a student is ever in an emergency situation he/she is encouraged to call 911 or utilize one of the resources listed below:

-PWCS has been notified by the Prince William County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court that the drivers’ license ceremonies held by the court for students receiving their licenses have been suspended through the end of March due to the current situation with the coronavirus. Further information will be provided by the court on its website.

-This week we will start the Musical (March) Madness for National Foreign Language Week.  A bracket have  been created  outside  room  1110, so that the students can see the winners each day. There are also QR codes they can scan to get the songs on Youtube. Good luck languages! We shall see who the best language is! 

-This year Forest Park will be competing in Mascot Wars which is an event being hosted by Hylton High School’s SALC team.  Part of this competition involves a canned food drive.  Donated goods will then be used to create a sculpture that represents school pride.  Starting this week, we will be encouraging students to donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items to their 1st period teacher.  The class that donates the most goods will receive a breakfast courtesy of SCA.  Thank you in advance for supporting this.  

-Congratulations to Ilaria Cabell for being the Northern Regional Award winner for her essay on Strong Men and Women in Virginia History. She gave her essay in Richmond during the awards ceremony. When you see her in the hall please congratulate her! 

-The district has changed how students log in to Naviance Student.  All student accounts have been rolled over to meet the new single sign on standards for the district’s applications. Click here for more information 

-Students, the cost of parking passes has been reduced to $50.00.  Beginning today, those students needing a parking pass will only be charged $50.00 vice $100.00.  Payment can be made by check, cash, or money order.  Any questions, call security. Also, all students are reminded that a valid Forest Park student parking pass must be visible in your windshield if parking on campus.  Several cars are currently parked but no valid parking pass is visible.  Remember you stand the chance of getting towed if Mr. Price cannot verify the vehicle to the assigned space.  Also, for those students who occasionally park in the staff lot, you also take the chance of being towed.  Costs for retrieving your vehicle from the tow company may exceed $160.00

-Please join our Mindful Movement class on Flexes 1 and 6. We practice breath and moving strategies to help reduce stress. Pick up a Flex pass from your teacher or from Ms. Rodriguez in room 1105.

-The Bruin Learning Center is open during each flex period in the Library. You can ask your teacher for a pass to get help in English, Math, Social Studies, or Science or come see Mrs. Haddad in Room 1101. You can use the Bruin Learning Center to make up absent or make up work, get help on specific topics, or study for an upcoming assessment. Attention Seniors! Need help on your college essay? Visit our English tutors in the Bruin Learning Center to get targeted feedback on making your essay stand out.

-On Monday, October 21, 2019, Forest Park High School began the use of electronic locks on exterior doors, as a part of on-going efforts to improve security for students and staff. This means that there will be no access to the interior of the school building for students until 7:00 AM, our routine opening time. (Students who have arranged before school work with a teacher will be admitted and supervised by that teacher.) There is a very limited area in the front vestibule where students who arrive before opening could shelter from inclement weather, so with winter approaching, please consider the safety and well-being of your student when deciding how and when your student arrives in the morning. On school days, the following doors will open at 7:00 AM for student access: main entrance (Door 1), the bus loop (Door 23), and the student parking lot/drop off (Door 3). We hope that this notice gives you and your student adequate time to plan for these changes.

-ESPN has recognized Forest Park High School as one of the top 34 Unified Sports Programs in the nation and number one in the Commonwealth of Virginia!  Congratulations to Ms. McCann and all the students who have worked hard to create this great program. Keep an eye out for upcoming Unified Sports events this school year and come out to cheer on your fellow Bruins

-Important message for Parents and Guardians! You must have a valid e-mail with Forest Park High School in order to activate ParentVUE, which is in replace of Parent Portal.  All information will be sent out electronically through ParentVUE this year, including interims. More details can be found on the PWCS website.

-Students can access their StudentVUE account by visiting studentvue.pwcs.edu or the mobile app, using their Microsoft 365 username@pwcs-edu.org and password credentials.
